Institute for Studies in Vedic Sciences (ISVS)
The Institute for Studies in Vedic Sciences (ISVS) is the main promoter of Vishwa.
Headed by Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj, a divine yogi, the institute was
nurtured into a multi dimensional project. The ashram is situated at Shivpuri, the
Holy Yajnya Nagar, for propagation of Vedic culture in the Akkalkot area in Solapur,
India.
The followers of Shree Gajanan Maharaj set up the Institute for Studies in Vedic
Sciences (ISVS) in 1995 with an aim of finding sustainable solutions to all the
key challenges facing our civilization. The thrust of the ISVS is to go back to
the Vedas and spread the knowledge contained in these ancient scriptures -- numerous
concepts that can be helpful in developing eco-friendly solutions to overcome the
environmental problems faced by the world today. Based on this, highly motivated
volunteers are working on creating a beautiful world for all of us to live in, taking
up different projects such as Air Purification, Organic Farming, Holistic Healthcare
and others.
Agnihotra
An Agnihotra event is one of the major activities conducted by ISVS.
It is a scientific process of purification of the atmosphere based on Vedic principles
which are harnessed to give rise to an unparalleled purifying and healing phenomenon.
According to Vedic science, Agnihotra balances the cycle of nature and nourishes
human life. It creates a pure, clean and healthy environment and cleanses the air
of the negative effects of pollution.
