Vishwa is an activity started by our institute to create forum for people to express and share. A lot of curiosity and interest has been seen in people about the activities and programms that are also initiated by our orginisation.Our institute is based in the precincts of the same and holy.Ashram campus of Shivpuri spread over a 100acers. Our Ashram was founded by HH Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj. It has been energized by the performance of a unique ceremony called a MAHASOMAYAGA. The memory of which is still invoked in our minds by the magnificent Yajnya pillar and the Yajnya altars. They stand in testimony of the usherance of an era of universal brotherhood and peace. Our institute was founded by shri Shreekantji Maharaj, son of Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj.He started our Institute with an idea to provide an authentic and verified researched based data on Agnihotra and the other super sciences mentioned in the Vedic text. Our Ashram is known globally as the home and origin place of Agnihotra

ASHRAM ACTIVITES

Our Institute and Ashram are situated in a rural & drought hit part of India. Our Ashram undertakes many social upliftment activities in aid of the people living in & around the Ashram.

HEALTH

Our Ashram runs a non-profit Ayurveda OPD since the year 1976. Started in a small tin shed, our centre today is known worldwide as a destination for authentic & pure Ayurvedic therapies. Spread over 8000 sq feet our centre has been able to cater to more than 5 lacs patient over the years. Our Panchakarma facility as have to day become Known as one of the top place for Ayurveda programs. Our health centre in association with H V Desai Eye Hospital Pune has been able to provide free cataract operations to more than 90,000 patients in the past 5 years .Also in association with ORBIS International USA, our children out reach programme has been able to provide much needful eye care to children in more than 50 village is our district. We also organize various free health camps in which experts in various field of medicine from all over the world participate. Through these valuable medical advice has been provided to over a lac of patients.

EDUCATION

Our Ashram operates an English medium school since the last 2 decades. Our school provides modern education to an otherwise education deprived area. Today we have more than 550 students in our school. Most of these are first generation learners & come from very economically challenged background. Our endeavor is to reach our many more children and equip them with the power of education. Ours is a private run school and does not receive any monitory grants from the government. Even then we attempt to provide more and more children every year with free education and school supplies. This has been possible because of the participation of many selfless volunteers who come forward and agree to bear the cost of the educating these children .Our school has provided many exemplary scholars who are today working in many high ranking places. Our school has a track record of 100 % result in the SSC Exam. since the last 7 years. Our school also boasts of may achievements by the children in the various sports and athletic meets.

ANNADAN

Our Ashram runs an Annapurna where free food is provided to all the visitors and many needy people. We have been running the Annapurna for more than 100 years. Most of the food items served in our Annapurna are cooked using grain that are grown using Agnihotra Faming Method (AFM).The food in our ashram is simple, satvik and 100% vegetarian. We also provide basic housing facility to the visitors who come from all the over the world.

GOSHALA

Our ashram runs goshala which houses more than 50 cows .All the cows are housed in Agnihotra atmosphere and are mostly fed grass from the ashram’s own organic farms. We also house old cows who no longer are yielding milk .Our goshala also makes manure and compost using the dung & urine along with other farm waste.

ORGANIC FARMING

Our institute teaches and prorogates the unique Agnihotra farming method. This farming concept is based on the principle of farming as explained in the Vedic text. AFM is marvelous combination of organic farming and Agnihotra. Our ashram has our 40 acres farms which have been developed as demo plots of AFM. We also plan to provide free training along with housing and food to farmers who are intended in learning AFM. We also plan to further increase our farming plots and make the produce available in various markets.
Our institute also plans to run such demo plots in various other countries which will enable the framers all over the world to learn AFM.
We are also tying up with leading agriculture universities to conduct in depth research on AFM.

MEDICINAL GARDEN

Our ashram has cultivated more than 80 different species of medicinal plants which are a treat to see.

AYURVEDIC PRODUCTS
In an attempt to provide employment options and livelihood to rural population living around the ashram, an Ayurvedic product manufacturing department was started in 1982.
Our products are today being sold in the leading metros of India as well as in more than n 16 countries worldwide. Our pure hand rolled masala incense is greatly appreciated globally. An effort is being made to reach out to provide employment to many more families.

BEAUTIFUL TEMPLES

Our Ashram’s central premises have many beautiful and artistic temple complexes.
People come from all over the world to pray and to see art of these wonderful buildings. This sculpture & artwork done on the structures is so beautiful that everyone wants to visit as often as possible.

ECO FRIENDLY PRACTICES

Our ashram has adopted many eco- friendly practices. Our water heating system runs on farm waste. The biogas plant provides for large amount of energy that is required for cooking purposes .Water harvesting is a compulsory practice that we have followed. Every building is equipment with a water harvesting system which collects the water in to central reservoir. Rain water harvesting ponds which can collect water up to 1 cr Liters is being planned .We also plan to install solar power lamps for our lighting purposes. We also plan to expand and to compulsorily shift our energy requirements to solar power. We also soon want to use all organic food items in our meals.

ISVS FUTURE PLANS

We plan to reach out to as many people as we can to share with them the message of Agnihotra and PSM. We want to start many more Agnihotra supplies store in various parts of the world to enable people to practice Agnihotra without any interruption .We also plan to start new research project in the various aspects that Agnihotra touches and take the findings to the people. We plan to start Ayurveda & Yoga training facility in our Ashram for the enthusiasts. We plan is start AFM training centre in many more parts of the world.

CONCLUDING

We want to make people aware that the Five Fold Path (PSM) which is based on the Vedic principles of Yajnya, Daan, Tapa, and Karma & Swadhyaya is a complete wholistic lifestyle which teaches and enable us to live in respect of the laws of nature. PSM is a way of leading our lives in total harmony with nature. It not only encourages us to preserve but also teaches us to conserve. Green life style is a part of life techniques prescribed by PSM. We want world to know that by making subtle adjustment in their lifestyle, they can make there lives full of peace, prosperity, health and happiness.

I am represent ISVS which is a premier organization working globally to propagate scientific research backed data on the philosophy & science explained in ancient Vedic scripures.The Vedas are a treasure house of knowledge from where have originated sciences like Ayurveda, Yoga, Pranayama, Meditatum etc, From the same knowledge house comes the phenomenon called Agnihotra.
The Process is Agnihotra is based on Vedic principles and was reiterated in present form by HH PSSGM Shivpuri Akkalkot. Agnihotra is a scientific process based on Vedic principles in which medicinal & nutrients elements are injected into the atmosphere through the agency of fire to heal the atmosphere and to increase the positivity. .

PROCESS OF AGNIHOTRA

The process of Agnihotra consists of offering of two pinchfuls of uncooked ,unbroken rice grains smeared with cow’s pure ghee in a fire prepared from dry cow dung in a semi- pyramid shaped copper pot with the utterance of two simple Sanskrit mantras at precise local sunrise & sunset times.
Five Basic Principles

1) Semi Pyramid shaped Copper Pot. The shape of the Copper Pot is similar to pyramid. The geometric shape of the pyramid is known to converge energies at a focal point at ¾ the from base and also increase the potency .By inverting the pyramid is said that the high potency energies are spread over a larger area.

2) Sunrise /Sunset timings:- The process of Agnihotra has to be performed precisely at the local SR/SS timings of your city .These two times of the day are called SANDHYAKAL in the Vedic & Yogic philosophy and have a direct relation to the prana or life energy situated on the planet. Positive activities if performed at these times are said to increase in their capacity. These two are called circadian rhythms which bind and affect every animate & inanimate object on the planet.

3) Fire:- The fire though has to be lit for performance of Agnihotra is to be made from dried dung from the cow family. This include the cow, the bull & the calf. This dung is said to have immense healing and medicinal properties as explained in the Ayurvedic scriptures. It is quoted that houses covered with cow dung have a capacity of keeping away the ill effect of the environmental imbalance on the inhabitant. In modern research done in India and overseas has proven the pesticidal and fertilizing effect of cow dung in Agnihotra.

OFFERINGS

The process of offering is actually inducting of medicinal ingredients and releasing their healing power through the process combustion. In Agnihotra the offerings are made of unbroken uncooked rice grain smeared with few drops of cow’s pure ghee. Both these ingredients are said to posses immense healing powers. As per Ayurveda, the ghee if used rightly can even act as an antidote to various toxins and poisonous substances. The rice grains is a part of local diet in almost all parts of the world.

MANTRAS

The offerings are inducted in the fire though the utterance of two simple Sanskrit mantras. Sanskrit is one of the oldest known languages. The effect of sound when uttered at a certain pitch has been vastly researched and documented. The effect a found on human mind & body have been also studied. The well known studies done on music and its effects on human health by Prof. Jagdish Chandra Bose has also done studies on the effect of sound on the plant kingdom. He had revealed that the plants reacted to the effect of sound & changes were noted in them when the sound was uttered.
The effects of Agnihotra mantras have the same effect on the objects and the informant in which they are uttered. .

Scientific Research

ISVS has been trying to study the effects & benefits of Agnihotra on human , animals & plant kingdom. Also we are attempting to evaluate the effect of Agnihotra on the environment as a whole. We have made various scientific research projects to evaluate the changes that occur due to the performance of Agnihotra. Our institute has done pioneering efforts to not only to study these effects but also take the findings to the people and let them reap the benefits.

1) Kirilien Photography:-
Studies done on effects of Agnihotra on human & plant life using aura measurement techniques and the technology known as kirilien photography has shown encouraging results. It was documented that the increased negative red colored energy sphere was not only minimized but completely changed to a positive green colored environment in a plant tissue kept in Agnihotra atmosphere. In human studies it was seen that lowered energy levels manifold when the subject was brought in Agnihotra atmosphere .

2) AGNIHOTRA ASH:-
The medicinal & healing of properties of the residual ash left behind after Agnihotra are being vastly studied. Initial results have shown that the Agnihotra ash acts as a very potent manure and has pesticidal & germicidal properties .It not only helps increasing the yield but also helps increasing fertility of the soil .The effect of the ash on agriculture are being studied by various leading agricutulure experts and universities worldwide. The effect of Agnihotra ash on human health is also mentioned in Ayurvedic text

3) AGNIHOTRA & DRUG DEADDICATION:-
Study done by Col.G.R.Golecha of the Indian Army has shown that the practice of Agnihotra is a great adjunct to the drug and alcohol de -addication programmes.

4) BACTERIOSATIC EFFECT:-
Studies conducted by renowned microbiologist Dr A.G Mondkar have shown that the toxic and dis ease causing microbes do not multiply in the atmosphere where Agnihotra has been performed. Agnihotra has proved to have a bacteriostatic effect limiting the growth & spread of diseases.

5) NEURO PHYSILOGICAL PARAMETER:-
Agnihotra has been set to act as a great stress reliever and leads to mental tranquility. This has been proven by the studied conducted in DIPAS Delhi. The alpha enhancement and delta suppression that was noted in the EEGS of the subject exposed to Agnihotra atmosphere shows that Agnihotra has a distinct effect on leading human mind toward tranquility.

6) EFFECT OF AGNIHOTRA ON CHILDREN:-
Psychoanalytic studies done on children living in Agnihotra atmosphere has shown that Agnihotra atmosphere is conducive to the physical & mental growth of the child. The understanding, grasping powers of the child were enhanced. It was also noted in a study done in remand home in Pune that Agnihotra atmosphere also causes the children to be more focused & disciplined and their concentration skills are heightened.

CONCLUSION

Agnihotra is simplest of Yajnya which has been proven to have multi faceted and multi dimensional effects. It is called as a SIDDHANTA, the complete and ultimate proven truth. . Addition of Agnihotra to one’s life can make it happy & peaceful.
